Who we are

What we collect

When you chat: your messages and EKX's replies. If you send photos or PDFs, we keep only the file names, not the files.
When you book a viewing or make a special request: your name, phone number and what you fill in (budget, cash or loan, trade-in, notes, preferred day and time, the car).
On your device: your chat history, language and theme are saved in your browser only (without photos). You can clear them anytime.
How you found us: the link or website that brought you here (for example Facebook, or a QR code in our showroom), saved with your chat and requests so we know which channels work. We don't track you on other websites.
Technical: your IP address is used briefly to block spam and login attempts and is not kept in our records. Our hosting provider may keep short technical logs.

Why we use it

To answer your questions about our cars.
To arrange viewings and test drives, and to contact you about them.
To review conversations, improve the service and fix mistakes.
To prevent spam and misuse.

We don't sell your data, and we don't send you marketing without your consent.

Who can see it

Demo Motors staff who handle your enquiry.
EKX, which runs this service for Demo Motors.
Our hosting provider (Render): data is stored on servers in Singapore, outside Malaysia.
Telegram: staff get alerts about new enquiries (including your name and phone number) in a staff Telegram group.
Our AI provider (Anthropic): when the AI answers, the messages and files you send are processed to write the reply.
Google Fonts: the site's fonts load from Google, which sees your IP address.
WhatsApp: only if you choose to message us there.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records and chat logs are deleted automatically after 12 months, or sooner if you ask.

Your rights

Security

The site uses a secure connection (HTTPS). The staff page is password-protected and only authorised staff can use it.
